Great Idea But

As I have mentioned in past writings, the board does repair sidewalks each year as the budget allows. We have always tried to repair the worst ones first. That requires a prioritization process. John Giamarco keeps a list from which repairs are made. Please forward the address of the sidewalks being referred to that; ''are much worse now'' to Me, Mr. Giamarco or Ms. Linda Harter and their condition will be evaluated. Thank you for your comments and remember, the Board of Trustees meets every other Wednesday at 6:30PM at the Senior Center. All are welcome to give their ideas and comments.

The County's not the problem

The County is not the problem - it's the Trustees that won't get off their ass.

Why...

Jerry, I don't understand why are the residents who maintain their sidewalks -as required by law, then having to turn around an pay for those who don't? How is this fair? Why is the twp (i.e. all the residents) paying for this and not the homeowners who are responsible? Aren't you basically just saying ''don't worry about maintaining your property because when it gets bad enough the rest of the community will pay to do it for you?
