You are so correct, Chuck, laws never change attitudes, only behaviors, and even then, some still choose to resist the very laws that are intended for the good of the whole.
I pray we will all take such pride in our community so that no law will ever need to be brought to our attention.

"you can't change attitudes with laws" sigh..probably correct..did you have some suggestions that could motivate people to upkeep their yards? I know when I lived in other housing areas we had yard of the month or yard of the quarter and it was quite an honor to have that sign posted in your front yard and have your picture in the local newspaper. There was no "monetary gain" it was more for bragging rights! |

Interesting, Chris, when we met at Bob Evans we discussed this yard of the month possibility. Let's mention it at an Exec Meeting and HRAA meeting as well.
