OAWC testimony against H.B. 344 summary

OAW Customers,

We thought you would be interested in hearing what OAW is saying about House Bill 344.
Today, Mr. David Little testified opposing HB 344. I have attached his written testimony,
where he makes numerous claims that are objectionable.

Rather than passing HB 344, he requests that the legislature instead change the law to
allow the PUCO to approve "pass-through adjustments" for OAW. This would allow
OAW to raise your rates without a full rate case! This clearly would NOT solve the
problem of your overall high water rates.

Additionally he blames the OCC for driving up the cost of rate cases because of the
amount of information we request - which we obviously would not request unless we thought
there would be a benefit to consumers by obtaining it!

I have attached his testimony for your review. THANKS in advance to those of you who can
come to Columbus and testify tomorrow. Please feel free to rebut any of his arguments in
your testimony.

Thanks for all the work you do,

Amy
