Huber Ridge Area

i have lived in hr for over 30 years and really hate to see it go down grade so bad. Tonight on caracas dr  there was a big fire burning in the front yard of a resident , where it has became a junkyard.  their back yard had mowers boats and just plain junk it looks like H. the neighbor hood has gone down hill soooooooooooooooooo bad and no one seems to care. I guess its time to move on.

Have you reported any of this? Blendon Township has a link on there web page where you can report code violations and it gives you the option of reporting anonymously or being contacted for follow up. Huber Homes was bought and the new owner is willing to work with us so I amticipate even rental homes will be held accountable but it all starts with code enforcement being made aware of a situation.

It's all over the neighborhood! Sadly it's not just how they maintain their home. It's also how they act and how they raise their children. If I could I would leave this neighborhood to get away from people like this I would immediately.

One of the reasons for bringing zoning in house and adopting code enforcement was to help clean up the neighborhood after years of neglect.  It only works if people get involved. It is up to the neighbors to notify code enforcement about these problems so they can contact the violators and resolve the problem.  Our neighborhoods will not get cleaned up unless we the residents take action to make it happen. The attitude of  "Let George do it" just does not cut it.  We  must all take responsibility for our neighborhoods - after all  we live here and this is our home. I report violations when I see them - do YOU?
