We are pleased to announce we are hosting a Naloxone (Narcan) training, put on by Franklin County Public Health, at the Blendon Township Senior Center, 6330 S. Hempstead Rd on Thursday, 4/26/18 at 6pm.
This class is being brought to our community as a result of coordinated efforts between Blendon Township Police Department, Huber Ridge Area Association, Inc. Blockwatch and Sunbury Woods Neighborhood Watch and the class is open to anyone.
In this class, attendees will receive a free Naloxone kit and learn how to use it to stop a life-threatening overdose from heroin or opiates. We will also discuss local statistics and issues related to opiate use that your BT officers are seeing.
Please use this sign-up to indicate that you will attend the training class. Simply click on the RSVP button below, indicate if you will attend and how many will be attending with you (or they can register separately). Ignore the section below that asking what you will bring, no need to enter anything there, we are just trying to get a count of how many to expect for the class.
Feel free to share...and we’ll see you there!
